I was thrilled to interview Briana London. She is a former episodic editor on Grey’s Anatomy and Queen of the South. She has also worked on other television series and films. I attended the LA Festival of Books in 2023. The first vendor I came to was Cosworth Publishing, Inc. There, I bought books by Jimmy Huston because they went over autism resources. I felt these were important for me starting out as behavior interventionist.
Just as I was about to make my buy, I came across Briana London’s book: “Shanghai Torah”. I finally read it this year. Thanks to Mr. Huston’s help, I reached out to Briana. She was delighted at the chance to be interviewed by me. She discussed her favorite books and recommendations. I was even more thrilled as we went deep into conversations about using common sense in politics and religion. As an editor, I asked her to share her tips and advice for future film/television editors. I also asked her what qualifications are key to making it in the entertainment industry. Afterwards, we discussed her story about the baby Torah’s mysterious journey from Vilna to Shanghai, then to Los Angeles. Who saved it, and how was it brought to China during the Jewish refugee crisis?
